The Schlau wholesale distribution line has added another crafts market to its extensive network of locations: a comprehensive range of products and a wide variety of services await crafts businesses and specialist retailers in Chemnitz and the surrounding area. The new craftsmen’s market opened on 29 June 2023 at Neefestraße 86c.

Following the acquisition of the building, which had been vacant since 2020, and a short conversion as well as set-up phase of four weeks, Schlau was able to move into the property and open its doors to professional customers. The building, constructed in 2004, offers a retail space of more than 380 m². The newly remodelled premises also have many adjoining rooms that can be extended accordingly if more space is needed. In addition to numerous offers, demonstrations and culinary delights, there was a special highlight at the opening festivities: At a meet & greet with the football stars of FC Chemnitz, visitors could take photos together and get autographs.

Effective immediately, Schlau’s competent staff will be available from Monday to Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. to provide customers with support and advice. The range of products on offer in the new Schlau crafts market is impressive for its versatility. The current products, collections, trends and innovations from the areas of paints, wallpapers, floor coverings, tools, construction chemicals, external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS) and accessories are presented.
Commercial customers also benefit from our comprehensive services, such as the paint mixing service or the support provided by Schlau Logistics. “We are looking forward to supporting our customers in all projects at the new location in Chemnitz, and the surrounding area, and to offering them high product quality,” emphasised Schlau Division Manager Frank Breuckmann.
