The birth of a child is a very special time – especially for the parents, of course. In the towns of Minden and Porta Westfalica, the home of Hammer, more than 1,000 parents a year receive a visit from the volunteers of the Kinderschutzbund (Child Protection Association), an organisation that stands up for the rights of children and young people. During the so-called “Welcoming the Baby” visit, a lot of important information, as well as useful gifts for parents and child are handed over. Social commitment is something very close to our hearts, which is why we are participating in this great and important project with our Hammer retail sales line.
Hammer will present the young parents with a gift card worth 30 euros for a purchase in our Hammer specialist stores during the “Welcoming the Baby” visit. The surprise gift also includes a measuring tape with which parents can not only determine the size of their child, but also measure the rooms themselves. Hammer offers new parents a wide range of products for the interior design of their new child’s new room.
