Excellent service: Hammer has become the winner of the test for specialist markets dealing with floor coverings and home textiles. The corresponding study was conducted by the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ) on behalf of the news channel ntv and tested the services of seven specialist store chains.

The interior designers offer an all-round service – from advice and brainstorming to home delivery to assembly and installation. Hammer has once again been awarded with the quality rating “very good” for this diverse spectrum. “The competent employees provide comprehensible advice and respond very individually to customers’ concerns. According to the DISQ assessment, “The consultants are also very motivated and devote a lot of time to their customers. The diversified range of products, short waiting times as well as clean and attractively designed stores were also criteria for the overall victory.

The German Institute for Service Quality examined seven specialist chains specialising in floor coverings and home textiles for the purpose of the study. Service quality was measured on the basis of ten undercover visits to different branches of each company. Among other things, the survey evaluated the advisory skills and friendliness of the staff, the range of products, the opening and waiting times, the quality of the branch environment and the additional services available, such as tool hire or delivery services.
